The Inventors of Tradition

In March 2010 Panel were selected as one of seven recipients of Creative Scotland’s inaugural Vital Spark Awards.

Panel were selected from a shortlist of 16 for their collaborative project with design collective Atelier (Beca Lipscombe and Lucy McKenzie) to create a new and significant body of work including textiles, fashion and design objects for presentation as exhibition and related events from November 2010, in partnership with Scottish Screen Archive and MARTHA (Rob Kennedy and Julia Kildear).

This exciting new commission will be realised in a series of imaginative outcomes including an exhibition, limited edition publication and film.
